Creature/monster data is derived from the Foundry Virtual Tabletop PF2E system (github.com/foundryvtt/pf2e), licensed under the Apache License 2.0. Many thanks to the Foundry VTT PF2E system contributors for maintaining this dataset.
Every bestiary entry shows its source book directly in the app, on the creature’s stat block (a small source badge), so you can always see exactly where that entry’s data came from — we don’t maintain a separate per-entry table here given the size of the dataset (4,000+ creatures).
All bestiary content is imported under the ORC License / Foundry VTT PF2E system’s Apache 2.0 license from official Paizo publications, including (non-exhaustive): Monster Core, Monster Core 2, NPC Core, Bestiary 1–3, Book of the Dead, and the bestiaries bundled with individual Adventure Paths and Adventures (e.g. Abomination Vaults, Age of Ashes, Agents of Edgewatch, Extinction Curse, Strength of Thousands, Kingmaker, Rage of Elements, and others). The definitive, up-to-date list of source packs is maintained in scripts/extract-foundry-bestiary.mjs (PACK_PREFIXES) in the application source.
Rules and lore lookups are sourced from the Archives of Nethys (2e.aonprd.com), the official Pathfinder reference, and from PathfinderWiki (pathfinderwiki.com), whose text is available under CC BY-SA 4.0.
All Pathfinder game content in PathfinderGM (creatures, spells, rules, lore) is available free of charge. Paid credits apply only to AI processing — AI-generated analysis, suggestions, and text. You never pay for Paizo’s content itself.
AI output is a machine-generated interpretation and may contain errors; it is not official rules text. Always defer to the published Paizo rules.
